People will cling to a lie they know
is false rather than face a truth that will force them to re-evaluate their
entire life.
Don't be surprised when people continue the fight even after they've been proven wrong. To acknowledge defeat would destroy their entire worldview. That is unacceptable to most.
It takes a miracle of the Holy Spirit to soften a man or woman's heart to choose repentance; the culmination of the parallel realities of divine election and human agency working in conjunction.
What can we do? Continue to speak the truth and pray. Pray for those blinded by the prince of the power of the air. Pray that God open their hearts and minds to the truth. Then continue on until our race is run and we cross the finish line.
