People talk about living like you’re
dying, or living like there’s no tomorrow. This concept has really taken hold
in our modern, cultural ethos. And I get it.
But what if we were to embrace a different perspective? What if we were to live with the realization that we, and all those around us, will live on forever in the hereafter?
It is true that we can never get back the moments. And we should embrace the now, but for different reasons than our culture promotes. Not to get the most we can for ourselves out of this life, but to redeem the time for the next one. What we do here and now impacts and echoes into eternity.
If we were to change the dialogue, how would this impact our lives? I know some of you do live with this perspective. But what for the rest of us? Will we embrace the truth of forever?
