The Cross in Numbers

In Numbers 2:1-34, we see God describing to the Nation of Israel how He wanted them to arrange their camp around the Tabernacle of Meeting during their wilderness travels.

To the east, the fighting forces of Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun were to camp, totaling 186,400.

To the south, the fighting forces of Reuben, Simeon, and Gad were to camp, totaling 151,450.

To the west, the fighting forces of Ephraim, Manasseh, and Benjamin were to camp, totaling 108,100.

To the north, the fighting forces of Dan, Asher, and Naphtali were to camp, totaling 157,600.

If you draw a diagram to represent the arrangement, a picture starts to emerge. I know what I see. What do you see?

Nothing is in the Bible by mistake. It is all there for a reason. Everything points to the Messiah, Jesus. All Biblical roads lead to the cross.
